The first phase of the EuroBioForum’s Personalised Medicine Observatory is now complete. During this phase we collected a snapshot of the initiatives in Personalised Medicine in Europe and grouped our insights in an online database. This information was gathered by attending conferences in the field, initiating personal contacts with key figures, and enhancing observations via Internet search.
Insight into key people and key initiatives in Personalised Medicine
The aim of the Observatory is to give insight into key people and key initiatives in Personalised Medicine in Europe. This will provide a basis for a closer link between policy objectives and research & innovation funding.
The online information database is publicly available via the EuroBioForum website and presents an overview of initiatives per country and/or topic – all related to Personalised Medicine. In the second phase of the Observatory we will analyse and cluster the information from Phase 1 and fill the remaining gaps.
